Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Walker/Grand Rapids North

When I walked in, I was greeted by Jazmyne. She asked me what I was there for. I said I wanted my glasses fixed. I didn't want to replace them. No sense in replacing glasses when they can be repaired. She took them from me, and she said she could fix them. I walked around the lobby and was checking out sunglasses. And found a pair I liked. I spotted Emma. This cute young lady, she was eye-balling me. I started a conversation with her. She was very nice. I asked about the sunglasses, and she stepped right up, and started helping me. She formed a bond with me. And we conversed, laughed a bit. My wife joined us, sat down next to me. As Emma asked me questions in regards to my prescription, bifocals and types. No lines I said. She was great. I enjoyed talking with her. And then Jazmyn came out from the back, with my repaired glasses. She handed me some nose pieces for my glasses. Emma helped me with a nose cradle, for comfort on my original glasses Jazmyn fixed. At no cost. And I finished up with Emma, purchased a new pair of sunglasses. I would definitely recommend America's Best, and refer Emma n Jazmyn. Can't wait to go back and receive my new shades, and see Emma n Jazmyn again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights, we came up from Colorado for a wedding. I was really scared after reading the reviews, but I didn't have much of a choice because of money and location. But, it turned out to be just fine. The rooms seemed clean, it was quiet, there is a gas station and a few fast food places with in walking distance, which was great since we got in at one in the morning and hadn't eaten much since we left CO. The service was good. I really don't have anything to complain about. If you're not planning on spending much time in your room, this is a great place to pick. I would stay here again if I ever find myself in Grand Rapids.

Fot the price it's not bad at all. No stains in the beds, holes in the wall, and everything is surprisingly clean. Only bad thing is i basically can't get wifi in my room, could just be where my room is located. Overall, not a bad place to stay

Hands down the friendliest and most helpful staff I have spoken to when booking a room for quite some time. Jean in specific was awesome! Its a nice change when you encounter someone working in customer service that actually provides customer service! Keep up the good work!

The inn was clean and the was stocked with appropriate number of towels. The bedding was neat and I believe they provided me with a heated mattress. The neighborhood where it was located was convenient as there were a plethora of stores located near it. The service could have been better specifically the language used when talking to customers.

Very curtious staff. Beds so comfortable and the free breakfast was just cereal, but it was fine with me. I highly recommend this place instead of going to the Grand Rapids Inn or any other so called "affordable" motels in the Grand Rapids area.

I've stayed here over 50 nights while commuting to school in Grand Rapids. It's not a 5-star palace. But it's safe, has continental breakfast, free wifi, and friendly staff. Management is friendly as well. My rooms were always clean. No major incidents over the years.

My career has taken me from Dallas to Chicago, New York and even London and South America. As a designer I’ve been set up in some very posh places. As I’ve matured though, I prefer merely simple, quiet and clean. To me, that defines “luxury” and it is exactly what these folks have provided for the couple of nights I stayed. I almost regret to recommend them as I’ve honestly appreciated the solitude, courtesy (and yes, prices) that they have provided.
